Vintage Pearl Invitation from Imagine
March 22nd, 2008 • Related • Filed Under

These vintage style Pearl invitations from Imagine are absolutely divine.  The classic envelopment style features a beautiful antique style pearl embellishment on the front, with a delicate diamante detail in each corner of the insert.  It is presented in a box which not only protects the design in the post, but gives it an air of importance which of course your wedding invitations should have.  The Pearl invitations cost £5.50 and include an RSVP with envelope Â

They did my invitations and they were breathless. Everything went perfect. They set the stage for a magnicent event.

The invitations were stunning, i could not fault them and everyone commented on how nice they were. However, with less than three days to go to the wedding the Guest Book that I had ordered and payed for with the invitations had not arrived. The customer service was awful and they refused to help, only stating that they would try to get it sent out. It eventually arrived on the day before the wedding

This outfit is totally unprofessional. Not what you would expect from a wedding supplier which makes such beautiful cards as if you don’t have enough to worry about. My invitations, table names, were ordered with plenty of time to spare I mean months, as I am so organised, and they still left it right to the last minute to print, I got invites with no envelopes and it all came at different times. I had to literally call them every day and leave 2 or 3 messages each time I contacted them for an update, they never called back when they promised to and it took weeks to respond to emails and then on eventually contacting them they came up with countless excuses as to why they didn’t contact me some of which were personal, and quite frankly were totally unprofessional – I am the customer right!? They sent them to my work address as I requested as they were late, and the box was sent with no name on! And they didn’t tell me that they had sent them like I asked them too because I needed to keep an eye out for them, they sat in my office on another floor in my building for 3 days! It took me 3 days to get hold of them!! And when I did I got no apology, just absolutely unreliable they really are not worth using so please don’t.

In brief response to the comments above:
1 – The incident in June 2008 was due to an office move and BT not connecting the lines properly for over 1 month. We did everything we could during this time to keep lines of communication open.
2 – The incident posted on 15th October 2009 is extremely one sided. Firstly, our offices are open 9-5 Monday – Thursday. We do not have a messaging service and so cannot respond to messages we are unable to take.
We also deal with over 500 brides a year, most of whom are from recommendations.
As with any business, from time to time mistakes do happen but as with everything, when you have a bad experience you tell 10 people but people rarely take the time to report on good ones. It is worth while noting that the customer noted above did receive everything in time for the wedding. Also, the booking system that we use (Parcelforce.com) does not allow us to book in without a name.
