Butterfly Style

This original and extremely pretty style uses metallic foil most effectively. The butterfly fluttering through the branches of the leafy border catches the light in such a way as to make it seem real.
This design is rinted in flat black ink on 8″ x 6″ Brilliant White Wove fly card with burgundy foil detail. It is the first design I have seen from The Letterpress of Cirencester that utilises foiling and unlike many of their competitors it is good to see that they have only used it sparingly. All too often I see designs plastered with foil because the printer knows that the cost to apply a large amount of foil per card is about the same as a small element. What a mistake.
