Church wedding invitation from Chapter One

Here is an original design you are unlikely to find anywhere else. Chapter One have a habit of producing something very out of the ordinary and their Pure Church design is no exception. This intricate piece of origami engineering is truly awe-inspiring especially when you consider that whole card is assembled from just two pieces of card that have been carefully folded and glued to produce a contemporary 3D church masterpiece. What I failed to notice initially is that there is not a single touch of colour in this design. The design is so delicate and in a league of its own that it simply does’nt need any colour to lift it. the different angles and textures from the card, clay embellishments, die cut clock face and feather play with the light and shadows to really brings the card to life. It is quite unusual these days to find an invitation that features a church on the cover because so many couples these days have a civil service rather than marry at the altar and most stationery companies do not seek to contstrain their potential market.
As you would expect, this invitation is not supplied with envelopes but instead comes with postal boxes to send to your guests. There is not a lot of information about this design on the Chapter One website but the whole collection is available in their beautiful brochure which shows the full Pure range, including their highly acclaimed Pure Lily collection. Download a copy their website or request a free copy along with a sample to be posted within 24 hours.
